The gardener’s job is to nurture the development of his plants. His primary focus is to create a good environment for the plants to grow. He spent time cultivating them.
Consider: Jesus spent lots of time cultivating His disciples. Do we spend time cultivating our own lives? Do we spend time cultivating our relationships with our friends?
